What your ceremony audio needs

Jake McDonald5 min read

Every highlight film we cut is built around your voices, so we treat audio like a second camera: our own mics, our own recorders, and three backups running whether the venue's system works or not.

How we record it

Three sources, synced in the edit. In twelve years we have never lost a set of vows.

Whispered vows, a cracking voice, your grandfather's reading: that's the film. The pictures come second.

What you can do

Write your vows on paper, not a phone; paper doesn't autolock mid-sentence and it looks right on camera. If you're having an outdoor ceremony, tell us about wind and water features early. And if you want private vows off-mic, say so. We'll record them only for you two, or not at all.
